We are proud to introduce a brand new approach to becoming Bar / Bat Mitzvah in Bushey Synagogue. During school Year 7, we are offering your child, the chance to participate in the challenge of his/her life. We have created an innovative new program combining experiential and classroom learning to provide a Year full of challenges.
There are 13 challenges in total. For each one the challenger can score a maximum of 10 points. Challengers will need a total of 100 points to pass the course and earn their Challenge trophy. Your child will not have to then sit any other cheder or AJE exam, and will be able to enjoy their Bar / Bat Mitzvah in Bushey shul, where they will receive their Challenge trophy and certificate.
By the end of this Year long program, your child will feel a real sense of accomplishment, have learnt a tremendous amount and have a new group of life-long friends. Each challenger will receive a file where their progression throughout the Year will be tracked and the challenges having been completed will be written up.
