Learn to Lead
For years 9-10 Weekly on Thursdays, on alternate weeks for year 9 and 10.
Come along to our dynamic speakers and fun, informative workshops to train as future leaders by learning new skills in a social, informal environment.
Learn2Lead is a two-year leadership course open to youth in years 9 and 10, designed to teach leadership and teamwork skills to the future young leaders of our community. The course take places fortnightly on Thursday evenings throughout the year.
We are excited about the wide range of sessions planned, including discussion-based, challenges and hands-on activities. The sessions will be run by your local Youth Directors, who will be joined on some weeks by special guests and speakers. The programme includes courses in First Aid Training, Krav Maga led by Streetwise, Public Speaking, Israel Advocacy, training in entertainment and many more interesting and valuable areas of leadership building.
Th2 Learn2Lead programme is an official course, initiated and backed by Tribe (Young United Synagogue) and is a fantastic addition to any CV or UCAS form. Certificates will be awarded on the completion of the programme.
Learn2Lead promises to be a fun, invaluable programme with many skills and experiences to be gained.
The course is open to anyone in years 9 and 10, whether from the Bushey community or from other synagogues, so come and bring along your friends!
