Nicky Larkin describes how he went to the Middle-East to shoot a film on the Arab-Israel conflict
A Bushey Living Torah presentation held on Tuesday 10th June, 8.30pm
Nicky Larkin describes how as an Irish born artist, journalist and filmmaker, he went to the Middle-East to shoot a film on the Arab-Israel conflict. From the outset, it was clear that Larkin’s opinions were pro-Palestinian.
However, over the seven week period that he spent in the region, this all changed. As the facts about the conflict were revealed to him from both sides, his stance on the Middle East took a remarkable U-turn, much to the chagrin of his editorial team and colleagues.
At this special event we screened a clip of Larkin’s film, “Forty Shades of Grey”, after which Rabbi Richards interviewed him. This was followed by Q & A.
It would be best to see the intoduction by Nicky, then watch his film HERE on YouTube, and then come back and see the remainder of the interview.
